EndNote: The Basics




Course Details

EndNote is a bibliographic manager that allows you to easily develop citations and bibliographies and then automatically format them according to journal submission or other guidelines. With EndNote you can import entries from online library services including the Penn State Libraries catalog (books, etc.) and library database resources (journal article references, etc.) directly into your EndNote libraries.

Objectives

  • Learn how to create and modify an EndNote library
  • Understand how to import data into an EndNote library
  • Learn how to insert, customize, and format citations and bibliographies in word processing documents using EndNote citation styles
